Discounts and Subsidies
Childcare fees can be reduced by discounts and subsidies. Below is a list of these opportunities:
-
OSU Student Discount - CCCC operates the Growing Oaks Center
through a contract with Oregon State University. Through this contract,
we provide discounted fees for children of OSU students. Please check
with the Growing Oaks Site Director for more information about the OSU
student discount. OSU students may also be eligible for other types
of financial aid - please refer to the
OSU Web site for more information.
-
Tuition Subsidies - For many years CCCC has received funding
from the United Way of Benton County and the City of Corvallis to help
subsidize tuition for qualifying families. The Federal Poverty
Guidelines serve as our guide for subsidy allocation. Families can
receive a subsidy for 5%-40% of their bill, depending on income
level and subsidy availability. We ask all families who wish to be
considered for a tuition subsidy to turn in a new Confidential
Income Statement each calendar quarter.
-
Second Child Discount - When a family has two or more children
in CCCC care at the same time, the lowest-cost contract(s) fee will be
reduced by 10% so that the family only pays the full price for one
contract.
-
CCCC Staff Discount - All children of CCCC staff receive a 10%
discount on childcare fees. Children are not permitted to be placed
at the same site where the parent works. The Staff Discount applies
to the first child, the second and subsequent children receive the
10% second child discount.
-
Other Financial Assistance - CCCC works with various community
and state agencies that provide assistance in paying childcare bills.
Parents are encouraged to discuss their situation with the Site
Director who will provide assistance in accessing available resources
and in making sure all necessary paperwork is completed.
